Ryan David White was born and raised in New Zealand. These days he lives in Thailand with his wife and daughter, a long way from where he started, and his music tells the tale of many travels. Both home and abroad blend together, forming a unique, signature sound.

His first instrument was guitar, and for a while that was enough. But somewhere along the way, singing stopped being something he did quietly to himself. It became something he needed to share. He switched focus with no formal training, just the sense that this was the truer way to say what he'd been trying to say all along. These days that voice carries guitar, bass, piano, and percussion alongside it.
